Create an invoice from a session and it opens already filled in with the date, appointment type and fee. Invoice numbers run in sequence with no duplicates, the PDF carries your professional details, and your patient finds it in their portal.

Once issued, an invoice can no longer be changed, as is standard practice. Made a mistake? Issue a corrected invoice or a credit note in a few clicks.
A complete history
Every document keeps its number and its original PDF: you can always find the right version, along with the full trail of corrections.
You fill in your invoicing settings once, starting from what your account already knows. As you go, the preview shows the real PDF on a sample invoice.

Patients pay you the way they always have, outside SessionFuel. The invoice keeps a record of it: payment method and the date it was paid.
No. On any appointment in your calendar, “Create an invoice” opens it already filled in: session date, appointment type, length and fee. You check it, then issue it, in a few clicks.
Each invoice gets its number when you issue it, in the format you choose, for example INV-2026-001. An abandoned draft never uses up a number, and no two invoices can share one.
Whatever you put in your invoicing settings: your name, professional title and address, professional identifiers such as your registration number, and any wording you're required to include. The live preview lets you check everything before your first invoice.
Once issued, an invoice can't be edited, as is standard practice. You issue a corrected invoice to replace it, or a credit note if you need to give money back. Every document keeps its number, and the history stays complete.
Not through SessionFuel: patients pay you the way they always have. You record the payment method and mark the invoice as paid, and the PDF then shows the date it was paid.
